It just comes back in flashes, you know?
It’s like a kaleidoscope of memories.
It just all comes back. But he never does.
I think part of me knew the second I saw him that this would happen.
It’s not really anything he said or anything he did,
It was the feeling that came along with it.
And the crazy thing is I don’t know if I’m ever gonna feel that way again.
But I don’t know if I should.
I knew his world moved too fast and burned too bright.
But I just thought, how can the devil be pulling you toward someone who looks so much like an angel when he smiles at you?
Maybe he knew that when he saw me.
I guess I just lost my balance.
I think that the worst part of it all wasn’t losing him.
It was losing me.
Once upon a time a few mistakes ago
I was in your sights, you got me alone
You found me, you found me, you found me
I guess you didn’t care, and I guess I liked that
And when I fell hard you took a step back
Without me, without me, without me
And he’s long gone when he’s next to me
And I realize the blame is on me
‘Cause I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places I’d never been
‘Til you put me down, oh
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places I’d never been
Now I’m lying on the cold hard ground
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
No apologies, he’ll never see you cry
Pretend he doesn’t know that he’s the reason why
You’re drowning, you’re drowning, you’re drowning
Now I heard you moved on from whispers on the street
A new notch in your belt is all I’ll ever be
And now I see, now I see, now I see
He was long gone when he met me
And I realize the joke is on me, yeah!
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places I’d never been
‘Til you put me down, oh
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places I’d never been
Now I’m lying on the cold hard ground
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
And the saddest fear comes creeping in
That you never loved me or her, or anyone, or anything, yeah
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places I’d never been
‘Til you put me down, oh
I knew you were trouble when you walked in (you were right there, you were right there)
So shame on me now
Flew me to places I’d never been
Now I’m lying on the cold hard ground
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
Trouble, trouble, trouble
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
Trouble, trouble, trouble

I don’t know if you know who you are until you lose who you are.

“Its about liking or falling for someone you know is only going to break your heart. You know that they’re a heartbreaker, and theyre trouble, but you fall for all of it anyway and end up getting hurt”
“Taylor explained the backstory to the tune before playing it to Good Morning America viewers. “It’s a song that is one of my favorites on the album, because it sounds just as chaotic as the feeling was when I wrote it,” she said. “It’s a song about being frustrated with yourself because here you are heartbroken and you knew when you first saw this person, you saw all these red flags and you went for it anyway. So, shame on me.”
This is about a guy who apparently has a lot of attitude and ego and he didn’t care Taylor at first but that got Taylor more attracted to him and she fell hard for him and she found herself a bit low towards herself (because everyone knows when we don’t get attention from someone we give so much attention to, we all feel a bit lowered). The next para, she describes the guy saying how heartless he is and he always pretends the girl he is with is crying not for him but for anything else. Then she says how every girl he is hooked up with will be nothing in his eyes but just a companion. She finds herself being fooled for being in love with the wrong guy. then she finally realizes that he doesn’t really have anything called a heart and that he could never love anyone. SO though, he is much superior to her, she finds herself lucky cuz’ she knows how to love and she has also realized that there was something in her mind that said “Don’t go to him, he is trouble…
This is from my own personal experience about this boy i thought i was in love with , i did everything i could to be with and be like him but at the end of the day he did not give a crap about me, and sadly i realized i was left alone.
The title speaks for itself. This song is about the classic cliche “good girl falls for a bad boy.” The good girl sees a bad boy, falls for him even though she knows he’s bad news. She’s entranced by him because of how new and exciting he is. She changes herself to be a part of his world. So the good girl becomes bad, but in the end when things end between her and this bad boy, she’s left by herself and feeling more alone than before she got together with this boy.

I admire Maroon Five for making this video campaign. It’s so inspirational, it makes you realize, that no one is perfect, that many people all over the world also experienced struggles, discrimination etc.
We are not alone, we all have issues, but in the end all we have to do is to love ourselves- accepting our imperfections & Love Life. After all, there’s always a DAYLIGHT. ♥
